It was pretty sad to leave so many good friends behind.
On the 3rd, we got on a train and left Dundee for the last time.
We had a bit of a holiday on the way home to Perth. First stop, Edinburgh. Here we are in Princes St gardens. I revisited the bridge where I used to spend a lot of time as a 5 year old - It goes over the main railway lines out of Waverley station...
We also climbed Arthur's Seat.
I took Sue for a walk near where my family lived in Edinburgh - Blackford Pond and Hill as well as the Hermitage of Braid. You can just see our house in the fourth photo, and the Braid Hills Hotel lounge in the last one.
Then we headed over to Glasgow, after a short visit with our cousins in Larbert.
We were on a bit of a Charles Rennie Mackintosh pilgrimage, to see if we got any bright ideas for interiors in our house. These photos are taken inside the Willow Tearooms in Sauchiehall St.
Our last day in Scotland, Glasgow University and Dumbarton Castle....
