During the rest of August, we got down to some stuff by ourselves.
This photo is of a board containing the Ten Commandments in the Chambers St Museum, Edinburgh. Sue kinda liked it - I'll probably Photshop it straight and print it as a postcard!
On the 10th, we went for a long cycle around one of the Fife cycle routes. This was the Ports of Tay ride - about 50km for the afternoon including getting to and from Fife.
We spent the last couple of weekends going to Edinburgh fringe festival events. Our favourite was a version of MacBeth done in the closes and streets of the old town of Edinburgh.
Another highlight was the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. The night we went was very pleasant..
These are a few late-Summer views from around Dundee - mostly taken around Balgay Hill, site of the Dundee observatory - famous for it's papier maché dome!
We went for a very nice walk near St Andrews late in the month.
This photo is taken at the Dome Café in Edinburgh (no relation to the Dome franchise in Australia) - Linda and I also had a nice lunch here three years ago!
Finally, on the last day of August, the computer gear (and clothes) that I shipped on May 10th arrived. Well done Chess Wilson - not! At least now my study looks more like home! If you ring my IP Telephone local number in Perth, the phone in this picture rings!
