In June, we're planning to walk in the Caledonian Challenge with a team from St Paul's, so we've started doing some training walks. This one was from Ceres to the Hill of Tarvit and Scotstarvit tower.
On the 12th of April, we caught up with Sheila, Gordon and Ewan over in Larbert. It was another excellent Spring day, so we headed out for a walk and acquired as much useful baby information as we could.
Our next training walk was to Tentsmuir Forest from the Cathedral and back - about 12 miles.
..and another along 16 miles of the Fife Coastal Path from Lower Largo (birthplace of Alexander Selkirk - on whom Robinson Crusoe was based Thanks to Bruce Haynes for the book!) to Crail.
From the 18th to the 21st of May, Ken was on Uist working at the Loch Carnan power station for Omni Instruments. We installed a network to upgrade some datataker dataloggers that Jim (in the above photo) had installed some years before. The job went OK apart from us managing to leave the network servers in Dundee! South Uist is a good 6 hours drive from Dundee, and there's one ferry a day - oops.
However, we did get the job done, and also enjoyed the Uists.
